Recently, some videos on youtube will not play at all and will instead buffer endlessly. However, for most other videos they play perfectly fine. I was experiencing the same issue. Problem in my case was Date and Time of PC. For some reasons I had kept the date of Laptop to an old date. Just changed the date to present date.
